This both devices are pretty much famous in Indian Market for its Cheap Price and Price to Performance Ratio. I personally using this smart phone from 1 and a half years and I can say its awesome to have this great power in decency cheap price.

Today I will say you all how to ROOT Xiaomi Redmi 2/2 Prime. 

It's very easy and IT WILL NOT HARM YOUR MOBILE.

Prerequisites:

 

1. Battery should be charged minimum 35%
2. Need an Internet with good speed to download the files (download links will be at the bottom of the Tutorial.)
3. TWRP/any other custom recovery. If you don't have this than follow the <a href>link</a>
4. Little Knowledge about ROOT
5. Patience

Let's Start:

 

• 1. Here, I am assuming that you already have a <a href>TWRP<a> installed on your mobile.
• 2. First of all Download these file [ For MIUI 8: SuperSU_MIUI8 ; for MIUI 7: SuperSU_MIUI7 ]
• 3. After downloading the file don't extract it.
• 4. Go to Updater App.

• 5. Press 3-Dot  Button (Located at the right upper corner).

• 6. Select Reboot to Recovery.

• 7. Click on Reboot Now. (Phone will reboot into recovery).

• 8. Go to Install.

• 9. Head towards the ".zip" file where you have downloaded that.

• 10. Select that .zip file.
• 11. Swipe Bottom bar to install the .zip file.

• 12. You can now see something like this.

• 13. Then, Select Reboot Now.

• 14. Your phone will Reboot and it may take some time to boot.
• 15. After Reboot, Go to Play store and Search for superSU and Download  that App.

• 16. After Download, Open that App and It will Ask this Message. "SuperSU Binary Need to be updated ", Don't Worry Select Continue and then select Normal.

• 17. It will take 2-3 minutes more for the successful installation of SU Binary in your Mobile. You can also select TWRP/CWM, here mobile will Reboot and install the SU binary.
